StoreProfit - profit you can trust, cash you can see coming.
StoreProfit is a Shopify app for ecommerce merchants that calculates your real net profit, tells you what to reorder and when, and forecasts your future cash balance - so you always know what you’re actually making and what your bank balance will be after your next restock. It connects your store, product costs, and ad spend to show profit, inventory, and cash flow in one place.

Profitable on paper. Broke in the bank.
If you buy physical stock, profit and cash are different animals. Margin lives in your P&L; cash lives in supplier deposits, payout delays, and ad invoices. Today, most Shopify brands juggle three disconnected tools to keep track - and none of them talk to each other.
A profit tracker
Tells you what you earned after COGS, ads, and fees. Useful - but it looks backwards, and it has no idea a $12k supplier deposit leaves your account on Thursday.
Blind to cash timing
An inventory app
Tells you what to reorder and when. But it treats every purchase order as free - it never asks whether you can actually afford the reorder it just recommended.
Blind to money entirely
A cashflow spreadsheet
Your best guess at next quarter's bank balance, rebuilt by hand every Sunday night. It's out of date the moment an ad invoice lands or a payout slips.
Manual, stale, and fragile
A profitable month. An overdrawn account.
A hypothetical (but very typical) month for a stock-carrying brand. Profit says everything is fine. The bank account disagrees - for three days that could have bounced a supplier payment.
Illustrative scenario - not customer data.
-
Sep 1–30: a genuinely good month
Sales are healthy and margins hold. Net profit ends the month at +$8,400 - every profit dashboard shows green.
-
Sep 12–14: three restocks come due at once
Three bestsellers hit reorder points in the same week. Suppliers want 30% deposits up front - −$9,800 wired out before a single new unit ships.
-
Sep 14: the bank balance goes negative
Payouts haven't caught up and the Meta invoice cleared two days earlier. Balance: −$1,600. Profitable brand, overdrawn account.
StoreProfit builds this exact timeline in advance - from your payout schedule, supplier terms, and ad billing cycles - and flags the shortfall weeks before the wire, with the cause attached: which restocks, which invoices, which dates.
Three modules. One data engine.
Profit, inventory, and cashflow are the same numbers viewed from different angles - so StoreProfit computes them from one shared engine instead of three apps that disagree with each other.
Real profit analytics
Know what you actually made - today, not at month-end.
Real-time net profit: revenue minus COGS, ad spend, gateway fees, shipping, refunds, VAT/taxes, and your fixed costs. Accuracy-obsessed: every number is traceable to its inputs, so when a figure looks off you can click through and see exactly why.
- Net profit per product and per day
- Ad spend synced from Meta & Google
- VAT handled correctly - never counted as revenue
- Refunds and gateway fees, not estimates
Inventory intelligence
Know what runs out when - and what your stock is costing you.
Days-of-stock and runout dates per SKU, with reorder alerts that account for each supplier's real lead time - so "reorder by" means the date you actually need to act, not the date you run dry.
- Runout dates from real sales velocity
- Lead-time-aware reorder alerts
- Dead stock detection
- Cash tied up in inventory, per SKU
SKU-level cashflow forecasting
Know your bank balance up to 6 months out - before you commit to the reorder.
A forward cash timeline built from your Shopify payout schedule, supplier deposit and payment terms on upcoming restocks, and ad platform billing cycles. No other Shopify app does this.
- Projected bank balance up to 6 months ahead
- Per product: cash tied up vs. cash returned vs. profit
- Shortfall alerts with the cause attached
- See whether a restock fits your cash before you commit to it
Every SKU is a small bank account.
Some products print cash. Some quietly hoard it. StoreProfit shows each SKU's cash position next to its profit - so you stop reordering the ones that only look good on paper.
| Product | Cash tied up | Cash returned (90d) | Net profit (90d) | Runout | Status |

Frequent questions.
How do I get started?
Add StoreProfit to your Shopify store, connect your data, and your profit, inventory, and cash-flow views build automatically within minutes. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and there is a free tier to begin with.
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No. For v1, your Shopify data (orders, payouts, refunds), your connected ad accounts, and your cost settings are enough to build both the profit view and the cash timeline. Optional bank reconciliation may come later - but it will always be optional.
Which ad platforms are supported?
Meta and Google at launch - including their invoicing billing cycles in the cash forecast. TikTok is next on the roadmap.
I don't use Shopify Payments. Does it still work?
Yes. Shopify Payments users get exact fees and payout schedules read automatically. If you use another provider (Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Klarna, etc.), you set a fee rule per provider and StoreProfit uses it in your profit numbers. The cash timeline is most precise with Shopify Payments, since payouts drive it.
How is VAT handled? Is this EU-friendly?
VAT is never counted as revenue - it's collected on behalf of the tax office, and StoreProfit treats it that way. Profit figures are net of collected VAT, and you can add your VAT remittances to the cash timeline as recurring expenses. StoreProfit is built by an ecommerce operator who has dealt with VAT firsthand, so it is handled properly, not as an afterthought.
What about data privacy and GDPR?
StoreProfit processes order, cost, and ad-spend data - not more than it needs. We're building GDPR-aware from day one: a Data Processing Agreement available at launch, encrypted credential storage, and full data deletion when you uninstall, in line with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks.
I dropship / sell print-on-demand. Is this for me?
The profit module works for you on day one - ad spend, gateway fees, refunds, and per-order product costs are the bulk of your picture. Automatic cost sync from POD providers is on the roadmap. The inventory and cash-forecast modules are built for brands that buy physical stock, so they'll matter less to you until you hold inventory.
I'm on Stocky. Can I migrate before it shuts down?
Yes. Stocky shuts down on August 31, 2026, and StoreProfit’s inventory module covers the essentials stores rely on it for: stock levels, reorder points, suppliers, and lead times - plus the cash context Stocky never had. A Stocky data import path is on the roadmap.
